In order to maximise acceleration and optimise top speed, rally, race and rallycross applications require lower gearing than any car manufacturer supplies as an original equipment fitment. This is why Quaife Engineering has developed a number of gearkit choices designed to suit a variety of motorsport disciplines, free from the compromises of road use.

Quaife close-ratio, synchromesh gearkits with helical or straight cut gears

• A choice of helical cut gears for low noise levels or straight cut gears to minimize transmission power losses
• Close gear ratios to maximise engine performance – ideal for highly tuned motors with narrow power bands
• Taller first gear ratio for race and rally applications
